The Stewards enquired into possible interference approaching the final hurdle involving Bull Ride, ridden by C.M. Collins, unplaced, Ben Dundee, ridden by D.N. Russell, unplaced, Aretesone, ridden by R. Walsh, placed fourth, Charlie Stout, ridden by P.E. Corbett, placed third and The Irregular, ridden by D.G. Hogan, unplaced, where it appeared Ben Dundee, Aretesone and Bull Ride suffered interference. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards considered the interference to be accidental, made no alteration to the judges' placings and took no further action.
