GOT ATTITUDE was ridden positively and relished every yard of this distance as he drew clear from three out for a facile victory. This represented a drop in class for the well-backed odds-on favourite from some of the company kept earlier this season and he did the job in convincing fashion. A fine stamp of a five-year-old, his future is surely over fences.

Point-to-point winner GRAND LAHOU stepped up considerably on a previous maiden hurdle outing at the Leopardstown Christmas meeting and, while no match for the winner in the straight, plugged on doggedly for the runner-up spot. The lightly-raced French-bred can build on this.

Very few got involved with a general lack of quality among the maximum line-up. STOREY COBURN joined the leading group over half a mile out but was soon only competing for the minor placings, while DANENJAN was a spent force approaching the straight.

CAFFEINE CRAZE ran by far her best race. She's now run over a variety of distances in three hurdle outings, and is eligible for handicaps. Being by Turtle Island, a cut in the ground probably suits and perhaps a drop back to two miles can see her to best effect.

BANNA BEACH stole a few lengths at the start and, after settling the pace down in front after a few flights, dropped away tamely before three out. A return to two miles should suit.

EASTERN PATH was pulled up quickly early in the back straight and appeared to be amiss.
