Meade one three in Naas opener
It's nice to win with him, he's been a disappointing horse,. He showed us an awful lot as a bumper horse and even early on as a jumper. I always thought he’d make a real good chaser. It just shows you what we are running against all the time. You would have always thought a horse rated like him would have won a beginners chase. I was glad the line came! I'd say that's his max, he only just barely got home there. They went a real gallop the whole way but that probably helped him too because that's the sort of horse he is. As the spring goes on maybe he'll improve a bit as he goes on but he'll need to. He was a lovely bumper horse and we thought the world of him. Even over hurdles we brought him to Cheltenham last year and though he faded out of it then he ran a good race in a good race for a long way. I don't think he's shown any of that this year yet and that's his best run this year.
Cut The Mustard registers stylish win in Naas feature
Paul said his mare started to follow Tintangle out (at the third) so he thought he was lucky to get away with it,. Other than that she jumped straight-forward bar a mistake at the fifth last. She's straight-forward and improving nicely. Paul was happy he was going to make all anyway. We'll try and keep her to mares contests and that kind of trip suits her.
One two for Elliott as Aramax wins nicely
That was grand, it wasn't the strongest race in the world probably but it was nice to win it,. We'll try and find something small for him now. He's going the right way. He's not the worst horse in the world.
McManus and Walsh double up at Naas
Brouder brothers dominate in the Adare Manor
It's been stop start with him, he's missed two years on and off, so it's great to get him back,. He had a lot of problems and hopefully it's onwards and upwards now. He did it well and he has a good bit of class if we can keep him right. We'd be very happy with that. He had a good run here after 15 months off and he'll probably improve a bit again from that. I think there is another two-mile race for him here in a fortnight and we could switch him back to the Flat as well when that starts.
Naas brace for Mullins and Townend
I think the conditions of the race suited and the two-mile-and-three trip. We were lucky enough to make use of that,. Today he looked like he wanted fences straight away. We'll see where we go between here and novice chasing next year. I'd imagine he'll go for the final of this at Punchestown, that's what he'll be aimed for. The trip and going right-handed there will suit him. I wouldn't say he would go to Cheltenham as this final would look an easier option for him.
Elliott doubles up at Naas with nice prospect The Caretaker
We fancied him the last day, they just went no pace and we dropped him in. He's a nice horse and he's going to win plenty of races,. I liked the way he quickened there from the furlong pole, he quickened up well. He was good.
