After race at Naas Sat, 8th Feb, 2020 (1st)  It's nice to win with him, he's been a disappointing horse,. He showed us an awful lot as a bumper horse and even early on as a jumper. I always thought he’d make a real good chaser. It just shows you what we are running against all the time. You would have always thought a horse rated like him would have won a beginners chase. I was glad the line came! I'd say that's his max, he only just barely got home there. They went a real gallop the whole way but that probably helped him too because that's the sort of horse he is. As the spring goes on maybe he'll improve a bit as he goes on but he'll need to. He was a lovely bumper horse and we thought the world of him. Even over hurdles we brought him to Cheltenham last year and though he faded out of it then he ran a good race in a good race for a long way. I don't think he's shown any of that this year yet and that's his best run this year. Noel Meade

After race at Naas Sun, 6th Jan, 2019 (1st)  We've always thought the world of him and every time we went to the races we thought he would win and he got beat and I couldn't believe it. Malone Road made him look very slow in the north which says a lot for Malone Road. However, the last day he was in the north he didn't come off the bridle and he won in a hack canter. I wouldn’t be afraid to go two and a half with him. All along I thought he wanted good ground but in Down Royal on softer ground he never came off the bridle. We thought we would get going over hurdles as soon as possible. He's a smart horse and what I like about him is he's going forward - when he sees a hurdle all he wants to do is go and jump it and get to the far side of it. I'd say there is every possibility of him going to the Dublin Racing Festival. I hope he is a Grade One horse. He's a beautiful mover and he's a gorgeous-looking horse and he jumps extremely well. After race at Down Royal Wed, 26th Dec, 2018 (1st)  We always thought he was a very good horse, he just kept bumping into good ones. It is quite possible he will enjoy that easier ground - a lot of those Diamond Boys do. He (Mark O'Hare) said he was cantering the whole way. My plan is to send him jumping soon - hurdling straight away. Noel Meade
