An enquiry was held to consider interference inside the final 2 furlongs when Arabescato (GB), placed second, ridden by Shane Kelly, interfered with the winner, Desert Friend (IRE), ridden by Louis Steward.
Kelly was suspended for 3 days for careless riding for allowing his mount to drift left-handed away from the whip towards the rail without timely and sufficient correction, intimidating Desert Friend (IRE) off its intended line and causing Steward to ease his mount for a number of strides and switch his mount right-handed.
Following the race, Molly Presland reported that Tynecastle Park (GB), placed third, was outpaced.
