The winner, Can You Believe It (IRE), appeared to show improved form, compared with its previous run at Worcester on 21 August 2019 where the gelding finished fourth of the twelve finishers, beaten by 20¼ lengths.
Nicky Martin’s explanation that Can You Believe It (IRE) had benefitted from the removal of the hood and following its wind operation the gelding appears to be getting home in its races, was noted.
Can You Believe It (IRE) was routine tested.
Following the race, Christian Williams reported that Realta Dawn (IRE), unplaced, had a breathing problem.
The Veterinary Officer reported that Stand By Me (FR), which started favourite and finished unplaced, had bled from the nose and Petrify (GB), placed eighth, finished lame on its right fore.
