An enquiry was held to consider interference approaching the final furlong, when the winner Catch Cunningham (IRE), ridden by Tom Eaves, interfered with Kingboard Star, unplaced, ridden by Edward Greatrex.
Eaves was suspended for 2 days for careless riding as he had allowed his mount to hang right without sufficient correction, causing Greatrex to have to check for several strides.
Following the race, Jack Garritty reported that Cotai Grey (IRE), unplaced, hung left causing the bit to slip through the colt's mouth.
