An enquiry was held to consider interference approximately 1 furlong after the start when Orin Swift (IRE), placed seventh, ridden by Tyler Saunders, interfered with Rydan (IRE), placed fourth, ridden by Pat Dobbs.
Being a 7lb claimer, Saunders was offered to have someone accompany him in the enquiry, but declined.
Saunders was suspended for 5 days for careless riding as he maneuvered right towards the rail when insufficiently clear causing Dobbs to have to take a considerable check off heels.
Josephine Gordon, the rider of Berrahri (IRE), placed second, was suspended for 2 days for using her whip above the permitted level from approaching 2 furlongs out.
