Charles Hills’ representative explained that the filly was unsuited by the Good to Firm going on this occasion, which in their opinion was riding quicker than described, and Stagehand (GB) would prefer an easier surface.
The Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of the filly failed to reveal any abnormalities.
