Permission was given for both Isabella Ruby (GB) and Castlerea Tess (GB) to go early to post and to be mounted on the track.
Approximately 1 furlong out, Kroy (GB), placed third, edged right causing Castlerea Tess (GB), placed seventh, to be short of room and to be checked, but after viewing a recording of the incident it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of Kroy (GB).
Following the race, Ben Robinson reported that Isabella Ruby (GB), placed sixth, ran too free.
