Approximately one furlong out, Treble Glory (IRE), placed third, shifted right-handed onto Professor Pesca (IRE), unplaced, causing it to be carried off its intended line but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of Treble Glory (IRE).
Following the race, Harrison Shaw reported that Professor Pesca (IRE), unplaced, hung right- handed in the final two furlongs.
The Veterinary Officer reported that Zebadaay (GB), unplaced, lost its right fore-shoe and Treble Glory (IRE), placed third, lost its left-fore shoe.
