An enquiry was held to consider interference approaching the final furlong involving Boma Green (GB), placed third, ridden by Cieren Fallon and Modmin (IRE), placed second, ridden by Franny Norton.
Norton was cautioned for careless riding as he manoeuvred his horse left-handed when insufficiently clear, making contact with Boma Green (GB) who as a result, was taken left-handed off its intended line.
Following the race, Cieren Fallon reported that Boma Green (GB), placed third, was slowly away, Ryan Tate reported that Redredrobin (GB), unplaced, hung left-handed throughout and Daniel Muscutt reported that Kiwi Royale (GB), unplaced, was never travelling; Roger Teal added that the filly was unsuited by the ground, which was officially described as Soft on this occasion, and would prefer a quicker surface.
