After jumping fence 7, Chidswell (IRE), which was pulled up, jumped right bumping Morney Wing (IRE), which was pulled up, onto Crosshue Boy (IRE), which clipped heels the heels of Morney Wing (IRE) and fell a stride after the fence.
However, after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.
Following the race, the Veterinary Officer reported that Chidswell (IRE), which pulled up, had bled from the nose and that Geronimo (GB), which was pulled up, had bled from the nose and was lame right fore.
The Veterinary Officer further reported that Sizing Codelco (IRE), which was pulled up, and Rathlin Rose (IRE), unplaced, had both lost their right hind shoes, and that Big River (IRE), placed fifth, was treated for post-race heat stress.
Kielan Woods reported that Skipthecuddles (IRE), which was pulled up, jumped poorly throughout.
Paddy Brennan reported that Acdc (IRE), which was pulled up, stopped quickly.
