Quirke, placed first where it appeared Ricky Langford and Early Arrival momentarily ran short of room. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. D. King stated that he had maintained his racing line. J. J. Slevin stated that he suffered minor interference when they met the running rail. C. M. Quirke stated that he ran short of room and took a precautionary check. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
