The Veterinary Officer reported that upon inspection, Angels Faces (IRE) was grey and not bay as published in the racecard.
An enquiry was held to consider interference inside the final furlong involving Angels Faces (IRE), placed second, ridden by Sam James, Inner Circle (IRE), placed sixth, ridden by Richard Kingscote and Rockesbury (GB), placed third, ridden by Grace McEntee.
McEntee was suspended for 4 days for careless riding as she had allowed her mount to hang right-handed away from the whip for some distance without timely correction, heavily bumping with Inner Circle (IRE) and forcing it onto the heels of Angels Faces (IRE), causing that filly to become badly unbalanced after having its hindquarters turned.
