The Stewards interviewed H. Smyth, trainer of Summer Wine, in relation to the behaviour of his charge, who unseated the rider in the parade ring and was withdrawn by order of the Stewards. Evidence was heard from the trainer concerned who stated that his charge had never behaved like that before. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards informed H. Smyth that a repeat performance from his charge may render the animal liable to suspension in the future

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Gamin Original (FR), trained by W.P
Mullins, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be blowing hard and showing signs of delayed recovery post race.
