Having reviewed the start, the Stewards were satisfied that Don Bersy (FR) had refused to race after the start had been effected, and was therefore deemed to be a runner.
The Starter reported that Don Bersy (FR) had refused to race.
Ben Poste, Ryan Potter and the Starter were interviewed and shown recordings of the start.
Potter was informed that any future similar behaviour from the gelding may result in Don Bersy (FR) being reported to the Head Office of the British Horseracing Authority.
