An enquiry was held to consider the circumstances surrounding why there was a dog on the track prior to the start of the race.
The Starter and Clerk of the Course were interviewed and shown recordings of the start.
After hearing the evidence, a report was forwarded to the Head Office of the British Horse Racing Authority for further consideration.
Inside the final ½ furlong, Novamay (GB), placed third, hung right-handed causing Solar Biricz (IRE), unplaced, to be checked when tightened for room, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of Novamay (GB).
Following the race, David Egan reported that Kensington Hope (IRE), unplaced, was restless in the stalls.
