It was noted that the representative of Sam England could offer no explanation for the mare’s improved form.
The performance of Dalkingstown (GB) which started joint second favourite and finished sixth of six, was considered.
Peter Bowen’s explanation that the gelding was feeling the effects of a long season was noted.
Dalkingstown (GB) was routine tested.
