Permission was given for Absolutely Dylan (IRE) to be mounted and ridden in the stable yard by an employee of Sue Smith prior to entering the Parade Ring.
The winner Knocknamona (IRE) appeared to show an improvement in form, compared with its previous run at Sedgefield on 26 December 2018 where the gelding finished fourth of six, beaten 29 lengths.
It was noted that the representative of Micky Hammond could offer no explanation for the gelding’s improved form.
