The winner, Night Of Sin (FR), appeared to show improved form, compared with its previous run at Taunton on 30 December 2018 where the gelding finished seventh of thirteen beaten by 34 ½ lengths.
It was noted that Nick Williams’ representative could offer no explanation for the gelding’s improved form.
Night Of Sin (FR) was routine tested.
Following the race, the Veterinary Officer reported that Native Robin (IRE), placed third, lost its right fore shoe and Jimmy Frost reported that Triple Chief (IRE), placed sixth, had a breathing problem.
