The Raceday Stewards interviewed Stephen Gerard Carey, trainer, for failing to nominate a rider in accordance with the provisions of Regulation 3-1. Evidence was heard from the trainer who stated that due to a delay in processing Mr. M. N. Sharpe's licence he was unable to nominate the rider on time. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards granted permission for Mr. M. N. Sharpe to ride The Nagger Reidy in race 3

The Raceday Stewards interviewed Mr. M. N. Sharpe, rider of The Nagger Reidy (GB), concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted that he was in breach of Regulation 10.3 (i) (time to respond). Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that Mr. M. N. Sharpe was in breach of Regulation 10.3 (i) (time to respond) and having taking his previous record into account the Raceday Stewards suspended him for two racedays. .
