Permission was given for Lovers' Gait to wear a red hood in the preliminaries which was removed at the start and for the filly to go to post early.
The Stewards noted that there was interference approaching the first bend which resulted in I Can't Remember, unplaced, and Alianne (GB), placed third, being checked.
However, having viewed recordings of the incident they were unable to apportion blame.
An enquiry was held to consider interference 1 furlong out when LOVERS’ GAIT (IRE), placed fourth, ridden by Liam Keniry, interfered with El Salvaje (GB), unplaced, ridden by Daniel Muscutt.
The interference was found to be accidental as LOVERS’ GAIT (IRE) shifted quickly left for one hit before being quickly corrected.
Inside the final furlong, the winner Alpine Mistral (IRE), hung left despite the riders best efforts, causing Alianne (GB), placed third, to be briefly checked.
However, after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of Alpine Mistral (IRE).
Following the race, the Veterinary Officer reported that Curtiz (GB), unplaced, had been struck into right hind.
