Permission was given for Parisiac (IRE) to go early to post, wearing a red hood; and for Dicko The Legend (IRE) to wear a red hood to post.
Eternal Sunshine (GB), trained by Jim Goldie, ran the previous day at Ayr, finishing first of eight runners.
Having been examined by the Veterinary Officer, the filly was deemed fit to race.
Parisiac (IRE), trained by Iain Jardine, ran the previous day at Ayr, finishing eighth of nine runners.

An enquiry was held to consider interference approaching the 2 furlong marker, involving the winner, Diligent Resdev (GB), ridden by Lewis Chalkley and Eternal Sunshine (GB), unplaced, ridden by Paul Mulrennan.
Being a 7lb claiming apprentice, Chalkley was accompanied in the enquiry by a senior rider.
Chalkley was suspended for 2 days for careless riding as he made a misjudgement when manoeuvring right-handed for a run, causing Mulrennan to have to check for several strides.
Inside final furlong, Parisiac (IRE), placed second, hung left-handed, carrying Cold Stare (IRE), which dead-heated for fifth, marginally off its intended line, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of Parisiac (IRE).
Daniel Tudhope, the rider of Cold Stare (IRE), which dead-heated for fifth, had appeared to stop riding shortly before the winning post.
After being interviewed and shown recordings of the incident, Tudhope was suspended for 1 day for failing to take all reasonable and permissible measures to obtain the best possible placing on a horse that would have finished out-right fifth.
Following the race, Mohammed Tabti reported that Catherine Chroi (IRE), unplaced, missed the break; and Tom Kiely-Marshall reported that Dicko The Legend (IRE), placed fourth, hung left-handed.
