An enquiry was held to consider interference on the final bend, when Peacocks Secret (IRE), placed second, ridden by Mr Dale Peters interfered with Activial (FR), placed third, ridden by Mrs Amy Cox.
Mr Peters was suspended for 4 days, on dates to be notified to him by the Head Office of the British Horseracing Authority, for careless riding as he had allowed his mount to move left-handed towards the rail, when not sufficiently clear of Activial (FR), causing Mrs Cox to be tight for room against the rail and to take a check.
