An enquiry was held to consider interference approaching the final half furlong when the winner, Brave Helios (GB), ridden by Alexander Thorne, interfered with Ballon Onabudget (IRE), placed second, ridden by Jonathan Burke.
Being a 7lb claimer, Thorne was offered the opportunity to have someone accompany him in the enquiry, but declined.
Thorne was cautioned for careless riding as he had allowed his mount to hang right-handed without correction, intimidating Ballon Onabudget (IRE) off its intended line.
