Quotes on Summer Tide (IRE)

It was a bit of a surprise as I didn't think he was up to that as there were a few fair horses in it but I'm delighted for the young fella after getting a fall in the previous race. He had a good run behind Desertmore House in a beginners' chase last year at Kilbeggan and the (heavy) ground made up for today's lesser distance. We were struggling to win a race so I'm delighted to win. A win is a win and his mark over hurdles might now be more favourable after that. there was a chance Maidenstreetprince would have finished second (to Sir Gerhard) and he is ok after his fall.

Quotes on Bua Boy (IRE)

he made hard work of it; even though he won well in Galway he still had a race so we'll take our time now and we'll probably park him up until Listowel. Donagh gave him a lovely ride, he didn't panic when he was under pressure down the bottom. He needed every yard of the trip and wouldn't have won over two miles here today. He's a chaser in the making.

Quotes on Dutch Schultz (GB)

He was very good. He had a nice run in the maiden in Galway, I thought he'd run a nice race here today but I didn't expect him to go and win like that,. He's a grand horse to look forward to for the winter and he'll go hurdling. He won't run on the Flat again this season but that could get him into a nice handicap somewhere along the way next year. His next port of call will be a maiden hurdle. He floated around there and Gary said it felt like good ground on him so he shouldn't have any problem with winter ground.

Quotes on Slip Of The Tongue (IRE)

That was great, he's a lovely horse and it'll keep the father happy as he's a home-bred. He's a horse that we've liked all the time and he's learning all the time. At Limerick the last day we didn't learn much, I'd say he stays well and loves that bit of soft ground. Knowing the family they get better with time and hopefully he will. He's a fine big horse. I haven't discussed plans yet but but I'd say we'll keep him at home.
