A three-time winner, the son of Golden Horn is nicely treated by these race conditions, while the small field is unlikely to trouble him. Point-to-point winner Mayor's Walk made a winning start to her chasing career at Limerick in May. The Henry De Bromhead trained mare has to concede weight to a trio of rivals but could prove up to the task. Slip Of The Tongue is undoubtedly well in at these weights but the seven-year-old has been below his best in recent times. However, given the excellent form of trainer Padraig Roche, a revival wouldn't be out of the question.

It was a bit of a surprise as I didn't think he was up to that as there were a few fair horses in it but I'm delighted for the young fella after getting a fall in the previous race. He had a good run behind Desertmore House in a beginners' chase last year at Kilbeggan and the (heavy) ground made up for today's lesser distance. We were struggling to win a race so I'm delighted to win. He was very good. He had a nice run in the maiden in Galway, I thought he'd run a nice race here today but I didn't expect him to go and win like that,. He's a grand horse to look forward to for the winter and he'll go hurdling. He won't run on the Flat again this season but that could get him into a nice handicap somewhere along the way next year. That was great, he's a lovely horse and it'll keep the father happy as he's a home-bred. He's a horse that we've liked all the time and he's learning all the time.
