Second at Sligo on his most recent jumps outing, the seven-year-old subsequently ran well in a higher grade on the flat. It would be disappointing for connections if the gelding can't exploit a mark of 100. Tingarran Express has to be of interest given that the mare seldom runs a bad race at this track. A winner at Clonmel in April, she has reached the frame on each of her five outings since then. With the Bill Durkan yard amongst the winners of late, topweight Wandering Rocks could enter calculations. Oakley Brown is good value for his 5lb claim in races of this nature.

He hasn't been straightforward, he was a bit keen early on in his career. He's going to win plenty of races - he's no Presenting Percy (brother) and he's not the biggest in the world, but he's going to win plenty of races. I'd say it is beautiful ground as it always is in Downpatrick. All credit to Downpatrick, every time you come into the racecourse there is something new. I was confident enough with the way the weather was going that something would pull out. He was in good order at home. I know he was on the back of a bad run over fences, but he doesn't jump fences as well (as hurdles), he's just a bit deliberate at them and he's losing ground at every fence. We just made the decision we would stick to the hurdles going forward. We put the blinkers on him and applied more positive tactics, and Mark gave him a lovely ride there. He got a nice run up the inner and it was probably the winning of the race. We were at the right end of the handicap and took the five off him. We will see what the handicapper does, he was up around the 123/124 before and kind of struggled a little bit. for a horse that can jump well, he made a lot of mistakes - whether it was down to the ground, or the speed they were going, I'm not sure. He is awful tough and genuine though. Jumping was never an issue until today - he was very good at Limerick the last day so we will give him the benefit of the doubt. He was very unlucky to get beat in Navan where it looked like he had it well won and made a mistake at the last. His jumping won the race in Killarney under a brilliant ride from Rachael Blackmore, and Darragh (O’Keeffe) was equally good on him this evening.
