The daughter of U S Navy Flag didn’t enjoy the clearest of passages before finishing well and may now reverse the places on these revised terms. Emerald Harmony and Lady Daar both make their handicap debuts and there shouldn’t be much to choose between the pair judged on running behind National Lady at Fairyhouse last month. Seven Eleven won on testing ground here last autumn but has disappointed on both outings since.

She's an English import and she had a very good run in Newmarket last year in a maiden. She got a very high rating. I ran her in a claimer because Jim (Fairhurst) was going to sell her, we just didn't think she was worth keeping because she was so high. The handicapper gave her a chance, he dropped her 7lb I think from her last run. She did surprise me today believe you me. She did show a good attitude and Adam gave her a good ride - they went very hard and he took his time with her and let her take her chance to come home. She came home well. We've always liked this filly at home but, unfortunately, on all of her runs nothing went right for her. The first day in Cork they split into two groups and Seamie was left to come up on his own, and she just ran with the choke out that day. She kind of came home thinking that was what racing was all about, which was jumping and ripping. She came up here for another maiden, and I thought she would win, and she was too keen and ran with the choke out and did it again in Naas. We changed her training at home and put a tongue-bit in her to keep her tongue down. I think her tongue was getting over the bit. She is a nice filly and through no fault of her own she has ended up very well handicapped. I think we haven't seen the best of her because of those reasons.
