The Stewards enquired into possible interference between the final fence and the winning post involving Snow Falcon, ridden by J.M. Moore, placed first and Saturnas (FR), ridden by P. Townend, placed second, where it appeared that Snow Falcon came off a straight line and drifted right towards Saturnas (FR) . Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards made no alteration to the Judges placings and took no further action

Robinson, rider of A Rated and A.E. Lynch, rider of Call It Magic had caused a false start by failing to comply with his instructions. Evidence was heard from the starter and riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the false start and considered the evidence, the Stewards took no further action other than to advise both riders concerning their responsibility to comply with the starters instructions.
