Permission was given for Elladora (GB) to be mounted in the chute.
Mr Joshua Thompson, the rider of Dirchill (IRE) had fallen approaching the final 2 furlongs.
Mr Thompson was interviewed and shown recordings of the incident.
The Stewards were satisfied that no other horse or rider was involved, and that the incident was accidental and was caused when Mr Thompson asked his mount to go forward, he felt as though Dirchill (IRE) had sustained an injury, lost its action which caused him to fall.
The Veterinary Officer reported a post-race examination of the gelding failed to reveal any abnormalities.
