Approximately 1-furlong after the start, a free running Rakish Paddy (IRE), unplaced, drifted left bumping The Resdev Way (GB), placed fifth, which became unbalanced as a result but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.
An enquiry was held to consider interference approaching 1 ½ furlongs out involving Turn Of Phrase (GB), unplaced, ridden by Faye McManoman, Hooves Like Jagger (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Hollie Doyle and Letter At Dawn (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Andrew Mullen.
McManoman was suspended for 5 days for careless riding as she had manoeuvred left when insufficiently clear of Mullen causing him to take a significant check and continued to shift left causing Hooves Like Jagger (IRE) to be severely checked in its run.
Following the race, Callum Hutchinson reported that Talking About You (GB), placed fourth, was slowly away.
Hollie Doyle reported that Hooves Like Jagger (IRE) jumped awkwardly and was denied a clear run approaching the final furlong.
Connor Beasley reported that Yasmin From York (GB), placed sixth, was denied a clear run approximately 1-furlong out and George Rooke reported that Rakish Paddy (IRE) ran too freely.
Following the race, the Veterinary Officer reported that Party Planner (GB), unplaced, lost its right fore shoe.
