Bridge makes it two from two with Listed success
We're very happy with that. She had a win last week and there was an early closing race in the Eyrefield Stakes on Saturday and she would have been in that but we don't like putting them in until they win their maiden, that's the policy. We have obviously done very little with her and she actually put weight on since and was giving us all the signs she wanted to go back. She did that very genuinely and Colin was again sympathetic with her. It was important she got black-type and Colin loves her temperament. She'll mix and match it between five and six (furlongs), take baby steps, and go back to the team now and set out a plan. She has an exciting future. This filly is smaller than (full-sister) Viadera but has the same temperament and oozes with class. I'd also like to give our sympathies to Aidan (O'Brien, trainer of Amalfi Coast) and the team as that is a horrible thing to happen and it has put a bit of a dampener on it.
McDonagh off the mark with Attelboro
That's my first winner, I did the course in March and this lad was my first runner here back in April. It is great to get off the mark,. He always had a level of ability and in fairness to Mark Enright he has been a big help and has guided me in the right direction with him. Mark always said he had a bit of ability and we stuck cheek-pieces on today to help him out a bit. We were expecting a nice run. I'm based between Clonmel and Cahir and mostly buy and sell horses and my aunt Noleen Moloney works for the Turf Club and we work the yard between us. We have four or five for the track, it is building away and I'll try to keep quality with a few horses like this.

Extensio comes good on better ground for O'Donnell
Last year was a wet year, that's why he ended up running on soft ground all the time but there was no intention,. I was quietly harbouring hope that the distance and the better ground would bring about improvement but had no proof. He is a smallish, good moving horse so the indications were he would go on it. I told Billy he was a bonny, relaxed horse but gave him no instructions. That's Billy's first winner for me - he actually rode for me over hurdles in the past and we know the Lees for years.
