The Stewards enquired into an incident in the straight involving Nam, ridden by D.E. Hogan, Cracking Name, ridden by N.M. Crosse, Nisior Donn, ridden by S.P. Davis, Bouquet Garni, ridden by A.J. Slattery, and Arlecchino's Rock (GB), ridden by S.M. Mooney, where it appeared Cracking Name ran short of room. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards considered the incident to have been caused by accidental interference and took no further action
A.J. Slattery, rider of Bouquet Garni trained by E. J. O'Grady, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung slightly left inside the last half furlong
