Murphy open to offers after Au Fleuron's debut win
Codd doubles up on McCarthy's first racecourse winner
I've always liked him,. Richie Kerins, his owner, had another winning point to point mare with me so that's two from two. This horse will go to the sales now. That's my first racecourse winner and with the current restrictions I can run under my handlers' license, although I won't go for a trainers' license. I am happy to have a few point-to-pointers and turn them over and have a lot of young horses and a lot of pre-trainers. I've run three horses, two have won in point-to-points and this is the third horse.
Pa King enhances his fine strike rate
It was a grand performance. He was ready for point to points and then the lockdown came so we had no option but to come this way. He'll improve plenty for it and he is brilliant to jump and is out of a Bob Back mare. He is owned by a crowd of my neighbours and I'll see what happens but I presume he is for sale.
Iron Bridge wins for former Foxhunters hero Murphy
He is very green,. He was ready for point-to-pointing, he has jumped and was great but has no galloping done and this is different training. I don't know what'll happen him not but that's a lot of pressure off me thank god, because I've always loved this horse and was stone mad about him. He will have a future because he is a lovely horse to do anything with. I have eight horses for the owner (Trevor Hemmings) and I'd happily take on more horses from anybody else, pre-training or anything.
Another bumper winner for Feeney on Broomfield Hall
We took a chance running her back quick but it being a point-to-point race I had to take a chance and there wasn't a suitable race for a while. She also hasn't come right in her coat and that was my biggest concern with her. We'll keep her for hurdling next season and she is a fierce honest mare and the further the better for her.
Double for Burke as Baragry rides first racecourse winner
Shane (Baragry, 22 from Fermoy) rides out for me five mornings a week and is a grand lad who works hard,. That's his first racecourse winner and I rode against his father Jerry in point to points. It was great for the owner (Michael Coffey) too as he has been patient and also had some grief in the family by losing a brother-in-law last year.
