The Ormond (Mares) Point-To-Point INH Flat Race was won in impressive style by the 5/2 favourite Derrylinda

Given a very patient steer by Joey Dunne, the Soldier Of Fortune 4-year-old led travelling well over a furlong out and cleared away to defeat Somewhat Cloudy (10/3) by 11 lengths.

The winning rider had won a similar event at Wexford last weekend on Eyre Square for trainer Gavin Cromwell whose horses are flying after his two high-profile successes at Cheltenham.

Today's winner is a half-sister to Grade 3-winning hurdler and Thyestes Chase runner-up Run Wild Fred.

"She is a very nice mare and she works very well and will be a nice mare going forward.

"She is only four but has done a lot of jumping at home and will be very nice next year.

"That's my fourth win and I'm with Gavin (Cromwell)."
