Iron Bridge (11/1) took the Nenagh (C & G) Point-To-Point INH Flat Race (Div II) in the hands of Johnny Barry.

The Milan gelding made ground around the outer turning for home and was shaken up to lead over a furlong out.

He was very green once in front but kept on well to score by three lengths and a length from Casey West (11/10 fav) and Don Chalant (7/2).

The winner made E58,000 at the 2019 Tattersalls Derby Sale when bought by Grand National-winning owner Trevor Hemmings.

It’s 15 years since winning trainer Damian Murphy rode Whyso Mayo to win the Christie’s Foxhunters Chase at Cheltenham.

“He is very green,” said Murphy who is based in Clonbanin near Mallow.

“He was ready for point-to-pointing, he has jumped and was great but has no galloping done and this is different training.

"I don't know what'll happen him not but that's a lot of pressure off me thank god, because I've always loved this horse and was stone mad about him.

"He will have a future because he is a lovely horse to do anything with.

"I have eight horses for the owner (Trevor Hemmings) and I'd happily take on more horses from anybody else, pre-training or anything."
