"Fat" but fast - it's Mr Scarlet
I bought him from Joe Foley at Fairyhouse and paid more for him (72,000 euro) than I have for any horse,. He's always been a very smart horse, and Gary said the last day that he would win next time. He's still fat and has loads more improvement. Gary said he put his ears back and really wants to race. He's got a great attitude and just eats and sleeps, hence he's fat!
Important win for well-bred Peacehaven
She's come over from France and we are still learning about her. Connor said seven furlongs was too far the last day (at Fairyhouse 10 days back). She doesn't look like a sprinter but has plenty of pace, and we'll probably stick to five and six furlongs now. She's very tough and genuine, and is starting to settle into our place now. She's very well-bred and it was a very important win for her. The horses are in a purple patch at the moment, and long may it continue.
2 from 2 for Carroll at 59/1
He always comes this time of year, and he's really taken up the last few days. He's been disappointing when the few I've ran have run well. He's in over seven furlongs at Down Royal, and I'd say he'll definitely run. He ran in Galway once and will not go there.
Lynam's Fort shows her class in the feature
She seems to be adaptable ground wise. I was a bit worried about the ground but that's just me as I worry about everything. Anyway she got away with it, and has a bit of class. That's the last fillies Listed race over five or six furlongs until 2017, and we could all be in Brexit by then!

Ground not to suit but no Drama for Endless
Everyone was expecting him to win and he's done his job. Colin said the ground was as fast as he wants, and he even hated it cantering down to the start,. He's ground dependent and does not want extremes. Colin is not keen to step him up in trip but the people that matter are. He'll go for a race like the Royal Whip next with the ultimate aim of the Champion Stakes at the end of the year.
