she's a decent mare and did it the hard way on terrible ground. When the other horse came alongside her, she went on again in the straight. The Stewards interviewed Mr J.J. King, rider of Flight Plan, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion that Mr J.J. King was in breach of R10(4) by failing to give his mount time to respond to the whip and suspended him for 1 raceday having taken his previous record into consideration.
