Vassula Ryden justifies favouritism in Navan opener
The run in Galway educated her a lot. She ran a lovely race there and she came on a lot from that. Another median auction race seemed the obvious thing to do. I thought it might have been a bit sharp for her, but she hit the line well. She did everything well and is from a lovely family. Steve Fisher owns her and he has the mare, so hopefully it is onwards and upwards. That will probably be it for this year and we will try and get a bit of black-type next year. We'll educate her because she is lovely and lazy. She is very, very lazy and does nothing at home. She is a lovely filly to train and she will teach herself as she goes along. Nothing excites her. She was very professional today, but she is just a lovely, lazy filly and every race will educate her more.
Hassett shines again as Navorrosse leads home McAuley 1-2
She has really just started to come to herself. We always like a Dundalk horse and she is probably the only one we have a doubt over whether she will go there, so we were rushing to get her in somewhere and keep her fit. For a small filly she is very brave. I think we claimed her for three grand, so it is job done. She has earned being kept for the winter now. We'll give her a run (in Dundalk), but if it is not her bag of tricks she has earned her keep for the winter.

Greek Flower finally blooms for Feane
It was grand, it worked out well. He's a great young rider and I'm delighted she won. I thought she would have won before now, but she was only touched off a few times. She is versatile trip-wise and she will come back next year for a few handicaps again. She wants soft.
Screen Siren plays starring role for Lynam
She was probably a little bit unlucky the last day and didn't get the gap when she needed it. She did it very well - I didn't expect her to win by that far. She's a good filly to have, she's a fun filly. She had a bad experience in the north in the summer - I thought the track wasn't riding great and was a little bit jarred when she came back from that. You just kind of have to keep her sweet. It is a pity that it is right at the end of the season when she has decided that she loves it again, but she was good. It is just a pity that the only other race for her is the last day of the Flat up the Curragh. The last hurrah on grass we are restricted to what jockeys we can use. There are five furlong races for claimers and jockeys who haven't ridden 10 winners. I think that is extremely unfair, they have the whole of Dundalk. There are races there (Dundalk) for jockeys who have a limited amount of winners. I'm aware that I have a limited amount of winners as a trainer, but I have only a small string and it is such a help to have the likes of Chris Hayes or Colin Keane on her. It makes all the difference to me and the owner.

No fairytale end for Zoffany Bay as Firm Belief wins well
She has put her best foot forward), she did it the first night in Dundalk (fifth on debut in February) on the sand. She ran grand actually. Seamie gave her a good ride, he is canny at the front and is a good little rider. He is riding the best of the best! He said he enjoyed that. She should make a nice hurdle mare.
