Greek Flower gained reward for her consistency when justifying 5/4 favouritism in the Navan Racing Festival Early Bird Tickets On Sale Now Maiden.

The Johnny Feane-trained filly won a barrier trial at Dundalk well over a year ago and has been placed on plenty of occasions since.

The daughter of Australia travelled well for Dylan Browne McMonagle before being switched right to challenge in the centre of the track.

She was ridden to lead over 100 yards out and kept on well to beat Nouvel Espoir by two lengths with Cholita half-a-length further back in third.

Feane said, "It was grand, it worked out well. He's a great young rider and I'm delighted she won.

"I thought she would have won before now, but she was only touched off a few times.

"She is versatile trip-wise and she will come back next year for a few handicaps again. She wants soft."
