No slip ups for Banana Three
Most of all it is great for Sean (Jones) and his two kids James and Edward - Edward is down for breeding him and Sean is our biggest supporter. He's a very consistent horse. He'll definitely be claimed with the amount of people that are interested in him. We could have run him in the maiden next week and we knew he would be hard beat. This is what it is all about and Sean has plenty of horses to come forward, so we have to keep them turning. It is our 50th winner of the year, so we are happy with that.
Heffernan lands the nursery on Milliethemollie
Billboa off the mark for Browne
He seems to enjoy that surface - he shouldn't, but he does,. He's not the soundest horse in the mornings, but it is great he did that.
Follow Seamie on Wednesdays at Dundalk
I am delighted with that. He is a horse that I just had to be patient with because he hasn't missed a beat, but I just felt he would benefit from a little bit of time. I always suspected he is going to be a better three-year-old - plenty of size and scope and has pedigree. He is really only getting it together now, so he is exciting. That (trip) is the question at the minute. I spoke to Seamus about it there and he said if he goes a mile he'll be a nice one as he felt he has class and travels, and took him into the race easy on the bridle. I wouldn't be surprised if he ended up a six-furlong horse, it is a fast family. Time will tell, but he did the job there today over seven. He has a low action and is a good straight mover, he wants a smooth surface. I won't be bogging him down in anything but better ground.
McCullagh excels on James Henry
He has taken his racing so well. Sometimes you get them to come second and maybe that was their night to win, so I am very happy with him. Hopefully there is another one in him. Scott was good and strong on him, and there was very little lead on his (James Henry's) back. I thought he had won the last day when he came past me. I have 15 in at the minute and we are trying to stay at Dundalk mostly, we have a few turf horses. They are all riding out, so we will keep going. We'll have a few running in January.
Bride Tree covers the Christmas expenses for Dawson
She did (travel all over them) - she has been in really, really good form. She had been running well in the summer, couple of nice placings and then went very flat. I think we had a bit of a bug in the yard. We just put her on the easy list, freshened her up and brought her back. She has been in serious form at home, so she has really done today what I thought she could do. It was a pleasant surprise!. She handles a bit of soft, I wasn't sure she would cope with it (Polytrack) as well as the soft. I was a wee bit worried that seven would be just a bit quick for her. We had her in last week over a mile and she got balloted out. I thought then I would have to go the seven as when you are balloted out you have to run. I am delighted for the owner, Kieran Burke, who has been very patient and I was trying to get a win for him. I am delighted that she got a win in her three-year-old year, it makes a difference.
Rice's Picpoul the toast of the locals at Dundalk
We were waiting a while for that, near enough two years. It is great to get her back on track, it took her a while but we have her back. We'll see how she is in the morning, I think there is another one for her next week.
Old Peculier lands finale for Fahey & Foley
The blinkers helped him. He has loads of ability and he has been running well. I even thought he had a bit of an edge to try and win a maiden with him as well too. He is a bit of a monkey and everything fell right for him today. We are hoping he might go on and win another one. The next day when he turns out, he might not produce that again. He has his own mind and we hit him on the right day today.
