Gamble landed as Exogenesis scores
He has been gelded since his first run, when he was very green and he is a nice horse. I haven't had too many two-year-old runners so far and hopefully our patience with them will pay off.
Banna Boirche records first turf success
He has been a great servant and I always believed that he'd win a race on grass. He was second in this race last year. Paul (winning owner, who is from Castlewellan, Co Down) is a great supporter of mine and this is his favourite horse. We will probably look at one of the big handicaps at the Curragh for him now on Derby weekend.
C'Est Ma Souer reverses the form with Paynes
She ran well last week when she just got caught. The little ease in the ground probably helped plus Charles O'Brien's horse (Paynes Find) got a bit of a hike in the weights.
First winner for Levins as Carroll doubles up
I'm training on the Curragh and I only have my licence a few weeks. All credit goes to Gary (Carroll) really. He rides work for me every Friday and he was really sweet on him. I'm only learning about this horse as I haven't had him for too long but he has been working very well. He is entered up over the weekend (Limerick on Saturday and Cork on Sunday) and I might run him again. I'm delighted for his owner Seamus Mannion. He was a great supporter of mine in my riding days and he has a couple of nice horses with me.
Melanippe follows up on Tramore victory
I thought she was up against it being a three-year-old against older horses, but she is a very tough, handy, little filly. The ground was firm in Tramore and it was probably yielding (officially yielding to soft after this race) here tonight so it doesn't make too much difference to her.
