Following the race, Olly Murphy reported that Just Minded (IRE), which was pulled up, had a breathing problem.
On the bend entering the back straight, Tikk Tock Boom (IRE), placed second, hung badly right- handed, despite the efforts of the rider, Tom O’Brien to correct the mare, which resulted in Cuddles Mcgraw (IRE), which was later pulled up, clipping its heels and stumbling but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and it had not improved the placing of Tikk Tock Boom (IRE).
Tom O’Brien, the rider of Tikk Tock Boom (IRE), placed second, was suspended for 4 days for using his whip in the incorrect place on the run to the line.
