Hollie Doyle, the rider of Gumball (FR) had fallen rounding the home turn.
Doyle and the Clerk of the Course were interviewed and shown recordings of the incident.
It was found that no other horse or rider was involved and that the incident was accidental and was caused by Gumball (FR) slipping in behind.
The Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of the gelding failed to reveal any abnormalities.
Following the race, Paul Hanagan reported that Monsieur Lambrays (GB), unplaced, slipped twice rounding the first bend and was hampered by a faller on the home turn.
