Settled in behind the leaders today he improved to second turning for home and challenged at the third last.

He took the measure of Gemini Lucy after the second last and stayed on well to the line.

Mansony was ridden in a moderate fifth before three out. Left fourth there when Blueberry Boy unshipped Andrew Lynch he kept on one paced to third on the run-in.

The money came for Glenfinn Captain (9/1 to 7/1 morning and 9/2 on course) but he was under pressure at halfway. A moderate sixth before three out he stayed on to be closer at the death.
