Elysium puts her best foot forward in Navan
She's a nice filly. We were disappointed when she ran the last day but nothing went right for her. She was slow out of the gate and got bumped a few times. Gavin (Ryan) rode and said she came home really well. He liked her a lot. She had been showing us plenty at home and if she didn't do it the ones at home were in trouble!. There was a little ease in it today but I always thought she'd love fast ground because she's a real daisy cutter. She shows us plenty of boot at home and we're hoping she'll go on from there. She's a sweet filly and she's out of a mare who was second in the Chesham so there is a decent pedigree there.
Laws Of Indices gets fractions just right
There will be plenty of winners come out of the race he ran in at Naas. We liked him at home and he was ready to run early. He was very raw the first day and I'd say it will be another run or two before we see the best of him. Billy said 100 yards down he was going to be third but he stayed on well. He pulled him out to see if he could get him rolling and it had the opposite effect, he was starey and raw. Where he goes next I'm not quite sure. He's a nice horse, a good looker and he was well bought by connections. The framing of this race worked out for him with the weight allowances.

Lady Maura lords it in Royal County
We've probably found her trip after a few goes at it,. Gary thought when he rode her in Dundalk that she got tapped for a bit of toe and got outpaced so we tried her at seven. She's a strong traveller and I think she's learning how to sprint now so we'll probably keep her at that distance for a while. Five furlongs seems to be ideal. She came from the breeze-ups so she's obviously able to sprint. I would have been disappointed if she didn't run like that today because we were starting to wonder what was her trip. She's all speed. She's well-bred, cost a few quid, so it's great to get a bracket for her. We'll see if she can keep going up the grades now.
Hy Brasil shows plenty of ability on debut
Walking On Glass writes another Navan chapter
He's a right little horse. Since he won here last year, he's run 12 times and only been out of the first four on three of those. I think he's after improving since last year. He's tiny but he tries his heart out. He's a good, fun horse and a great bunch of lads own him. We'll enjoy it and hopefully they'll be able to go racing the next day. He'll mix it during the summer.
Lalipour pops up at 25/1 for Elliott
I'd say the track suited him, as it's a big galloping track. It's nice to get a winner for James Power, he's a good owner. He's a horse that could go hurdling again.
