Walking On Glass (3/1) enjoyed another trip to Navan with an authoritative display in division one of the mile and five handicap.

Leigh Roche 's mount made good progress to challenge with a quarter of a mile to travel and took over a furlong and a half out.

He was ridden over a furlong out and shot clear to pulverise his rivals. Roche could afford to ease him down in the closing stages, which allowed staying-on Princess Zoe (4/1) to get to within a never threatening length and a quarter.

She drew three and half lengths clear of third-placed Miraculum at 14/1.

Trainer Padraig Roche said: “He's a right little horse. Since he won here last year, he's run 12 times and only been out of the first four on three of those.

“I think he's after improving since last year. He's tiny but he tries his heart out.

“He's a good, fun horse and a great bunch of lads own him. We'll enjoy it and hopefully they'll be able to go racing the next day.

“He'll mix it during the summer.”

Walking On Glass also landed a course and distance handicap in May 2019.
