Benefit Run pleases O'Sullivan with 2nd win of 2019
He won a maiden hurdle in the summer time at Sligo and now he is after winning a beginners' chase. He is no superstar but is after winning two races this year which is great,. He'll be competitive in his own grade in handicaps and he jumped great and Luke was delighted with him. These rated chases are great for those type of horses as that's their level and it gives us all a chance and I wish there were a few more of them.
It all goes right for Everlastingpromise at Thurles this time
My concern was about the ground but I couldn't believe it was so good and he has the action of a real daisy cutter. He was unfortunate here the last day and could now have won three in a row. There is a chance he could now run in a cross-country race at Punchestown on Sunday week, otherwise he could run at Leopardstown over Christmas.
Nolan and O'Keeffe join forces for a 2nd winner in 6 days
She got herself into it with her jumping and he finished with plenty of mare as well and had loads left so please god she'll improve away,. I didn't think she'd be able to do it as good as that but it is nice to get a bit of ground for her. I'm not sure if she'll handle it testing or not but we won't left her out anyway. Sean's claim is a help and I think he is a very good chap. He has been very unlucky with a few injuries but hopefully they are behind him. He is riding at the right time of the year now so please god he'll stay in one piece and hopefully the screws that are in him will hold!
Something Sweet registers a deserved win
Owner's suggestion and drop in trip works wonders for Run
Not without a scare but Royal Thief comes good for favourite backers
1st ride for Meade provides Archdeacon with 1st career win
I'm from Mallow and am full-time with Mr Meade for five months. I will probably get a bit heavier as I'm only 19 but my weight isn't too bad at the moment. He is a nice horse and he stays really well and will go jumping hurdles now and run in those auction races which are a great initiative. I fancied the other fellow (unplaced Ballyhot Boy) more today but I'm delighted for Jay, even if he is from Cork! He is a lovely lad and had good point to point experience with his dad (Louis Archdeacon, trainer). He'll be riding plenty of bumper horses for me. The owners are from Roscommon, Galway and Meath and that's where Rosgalme got his name.
