Fahey delighted to get Gypsy Island back in action
I'm delighted with her and fair play to everyone at Martinstown (JP McManus' stud) who gave her the rehab and did everything to get her back. She was keen the whole way through the race but at least we've started her off and we'll go from here. She had an injury behind and wasn't right when she started back, so we gave her loads of time and in fairness to Frank (Berry), the vets and everyone at Martinstown did a brilliant job. She will improve massively from this and I don't know what the plans are - I'll speak to Frank and J.P. and see. I don't think she wants the ground all-out quick, but we'll see how she is in the morning and makes plans. It is brilliant to get today out of the way.
Bronson In Blue relishes three miles in Tipperary
Of all the horses who deserves a win, it is that horse. He is little star, he's small but I love him!. There is no screen to watch and I haven't really seen it but from what Conor said he was just travelling so easy all the time. I have done very little with him since his last run and maybe keeping him fresh was the key and he did it pretty easily today. He had been knocking on the door and thank goodness it opened today. His owner Michael Conlon isn't far from me and will be absolutely delighted. He has been on the go for a bit so we'll see, but he may go again - he'll tell us. I have a few, not too many, for the summer and I have some nice young ones coming through.
Give Me A Moment's homework stands to him
He was recommended by Mike Greaney and he was right - he told me he'd be a nice horse when he goes over fences. He got a very bad cut before Christmas and it has actually stood to him as he improved physically. It wasn't a surprise he won, I ride him out every day and he had been working savage lately with the application of ear-plugs. He is very keen and will get 2m4f when he learns to settle. His owners Douglas Pryde and David Van Der Hoeven both owned Aurora's Encore and have been so loyal and have stuck by us through thick and thin. They buy anything I recommend sight-unseen and without them I wouldn't be training. There is only Dad and I riding out and Adam (Short) rides out at weekends and has been with us for five years.
Face The Odds picks up the chase under Flanagan
Sliabh Mhuire Lass dominates in Tipperary
She has six point-to points won and has loads of ability but would be keeping a bit for herself. She didn't need blinkers in point-to-points because she was happy going around the bales so we stuck them on today and it is great to win. She has a great page and will be covered in the next few days. I don't know what stallion yet and she'll race away for a few months over the summer. Leonard McMahon, from Newmarket House, bred her and has all her family for generations - she has a beautiful old page and it is brilliant to get the win with her.
Nancy Wyse a breakthrough winner for O'Rourke
Douglas Talking puts himself in the shop window
He is a fair tool and a right horse. He tipped-up, over-jumped it, in his point to point when he was going to win but jumping fences is his game.
